WORKING PRINCIPLE OF HYDRAULIC BREAKER

This type of hydraulic breakers is driven by N2 gas and hydraulic oil. They drive piston together to high speeds. The tool is impacted and transmit impact wave efficiently, so as to break rock and so on.
The hydraulic oil is supplied by the hoses connected to the excavator and maintains the supply of high pressure and large flow. Throughout the impact process, hydraulic oil compresses nitrogen to store energy and releases energy when impacting, which together with hydraulic oil drives the piston to move at high speeds. At the same time, the valve controls the reversal mutually, and realize reciprocating motion. As long as the excavator keeps supplying the hydraulic oil that meets the requirements, the continuous impact operation can be realized.(Long-time continuous impact operation is prohibited.)
THE FIVE-STATE DIAGRAM OF PISTON IMPACT PROCESS:
State specification:
A、B、C are three oil routes.

A goes back to the tubing, at low pressure.

B is the pilot oil circuit to control the valve.

C is an internal circulation and low pressure, which is connected with A. Valve adjuster controls the opening size of valve circuit and A.
STANDBYS: Pedal valve closure. The tool is pressed in. Piston mounted on tool. Valve closure(Piston upper and down compartments).Valve circuit open with valve adjuster open, in standby state. A, B and C are in low pressure.

RISING— Stepping on the pedal opens the supply mode. Down chamber high pressure,upper chamber low pressure. High-pressure oil drives piston to rise and accumulator diaphragm to be compressed. The oil of upper chamber passes through valve circuit, enters A through the valve adjuster orifice, then returns to the tank. Piston rises to pilot groove of valve ,and high pressure oil enter B, valve opening process(Valve circuit closing process).
RISING STOP— Step on the pedal. The valve opens completely. Fully closed valve circuit. Piston to the highest position,B changes to high pressure. Connection of piston upper and down chambers,keeping high pressure(Slightly lower than before valve opening ) . Piston down immediately.
Accumulator diaphragm has been completely compressed, rebound immediately.
IMPACTING— Step on the pedal. The upper and down chambers are still high pressure. Piston down to pilot groove of control valve,connect the pilot slot to A.B changes high pressure to low pressure, valve closing process ( Valve circuit opening process). Accumulator diaphragm rebound,release stored high-pressure oil.
IMPACTING STOP— Step on the pedal. Piston down to full impact tool, and valve closed(valve circuit opened),The down chamber of piston becomes high pressure,upper chamber changed to low pressure。Complete one impacting process,back to the
original state。(If you continue to step on the pedal, it will directly enter the next impact process.)
